For starters, this is my first-ever critique, so I'm not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing.

But, I want to offer more serious feedback with regards to works of art of varying degrees, and I'll do my best.

The intent of the piece is Asuka Langley Soryu from the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" universe wearing armor in the style (but not completely articulated) of Tony Stark's "Iron Man" suit.

It's a really interesting hybrid with regards to this deviation, but it's not a completely original concept. I don't mean that in a derogitory sense, because Asuka is synonimous with wearing plugsuits, thanks to the series. Still, it's really cool to see a serious attempt at having Asuka wear something different, as I consider the traditional Evangelion plugsuits often be simplified by artists in favor of focusing on the more... feminine features. Close attention to detail is focused here by maintaining the integrity of the Iron Man armor while befitting the character. What is probably forgotten by most who look at this is her helmet; instead of resembling a bland, almost faceless entity, Asuka's helmet is built in the spirit of the EVA-02 unit that she piloted. My one gripe about it is that it also resembles a motocross helmet; if Asuka was in combat, her face would still be vulnerable for projectile attack because of a lack of faceshield or visor. But, this is clearly a fantasy piece, and rather me making an observation.

The technique is really cool, with a very nice background that clearly lends itself to this piece potentially being part of an alternate universe in which Asuka is the role of Iron Man... though it can also be purely fanservice, but I want to look at it from an intellegent perspective.

Overall, this is a really cool piece that should be looked at by more people. And I hope that my first critique was worth typing.
